Before, during and after every meeting
Most recorders stop at the transcript. Jiva closes the loop.
A prep for every meeting
Today's meetings sit at the top of your list. Each opens to what to raise, what happened last time, and who owes what.
Points tick off as they come up
Your prep becomes a checklist above the live transcript. When a point is discussed, it's ticked, with a link to the moment.
Nothing quietly dropped
Each point is marked decided, still open, or didn't come up. Carry what's left to your next meeting with the same people.
Everyone you meet, remembered
Open someone's page to see when you last spoke, what's open on each side, your own notes, and every conversation by topic or by date. Turn on the optional second brain and Slack and email join the history, and Claude suggests names for voices Jiva doesn't know yet. Accept one and Jiva learns the voice in past and future meetings.
Also in Jiva
Names, not "Speaker 1"
Recognizes the same voice across meetings, so names stick.
Cited, not invented
Every summary and answer links to the moment it was said.
Live transcription
Both sides of the call, on-device. Starts and stops with the meeting.
Hold to dictate
Hold a key, speak in any app, and it types for you.
To-dos with the next step
One list of what you owe and what you're waiting on, each with what to do next.
Second brain, with Claude
Optional. Claude keeps your people, decisions and to-dos current from Slack, email and Notion.
Measured, not claimed
A public four-person meeting, scored against the human-written transcript.
From people using it
"I stopped using other tools and recommend Jiva to all my friends now."
"I like that everything is locally stored. For me, privacy is most important."
"Ran it on a 90-minute meeting. I actually liked it."
Straight answers
The questions people ask before installing.
Yes. There's no paid tier and no account to create.
No, not by default. Recording, transcripts, search, people pages and meeting prep work offline on your Mac. The exceptions are ones you turn on: if you ask an AI app like Claude about your meetings, the passages it reads go to that app, and the optional second brain works through your own Claude account.
No. Without Claude, Jiva builds each prep on your Mac from your past meetings and to-dos. With the optional second brain on, Claude adds what came up in Slack and email.
No bot joins the call. Jiva records your Mac's audio like QuickTime does, so telling people is up to you.
Your private notes overlay doesn't appear in screen shares.
Optional, read-only access so Jiva can remind you before a meeting, show today's meetings with their prep, open the call with one click, and name the recording. Your calendar is read on your Mac and never sent to Jiva. Claude sees today's meetings only if you turn on the second brain and allow it. See the privacy policy.
